I've known David six years and have seen him progress from a Rossiter coach, to the first Colorado instructor, to a senior Rossiter instructor. David gets Rossiter. He's an athlete and exceptionally proficient with Rossiter techniques. He's so enthusiastic about what he does. He's one of my most trusted and prolific instructors. David is the only Rossiter coach who's had back surgery and can perform as an outstanding instructor, which says a lot about how he takes such good care of his body. His enthusiasm is overwhelmingly wonderful and he is great with clients.

I've been a dental hygienist for nine years. During that time, my body has accumulated many aches and pains. David Henre and I met in July 2009. We began working on the severe pain that I was having in both elbows. This pain was waking me up at night and I was trying to control it with lots of ibuprofen. I resorted to making an appointment for cortisone shorts. Luckily, I was introduced to Rossiter before that appointment. After weekly sessions the pain was gone in both elbows.
Since then I have had David work on my hands, neck and knees. Currently, we are working together to get rid of the Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. I have great confidence this treatment will make me pain free once again. I highly recommend Rossiter to anyone that would like to heal their body without surgery or medication!

I've worked out much of my life - whether running half marathons, biking, weightlifting, spinning classes and so much more. I always have been proud of myself for working out. But let me tell you, having David as a personal trainer in Fort Collins has made the most difference in my physical wellbeing when compared to my workouts over the decades (ok….I'm not THAT old!). Seriously, as a 50-year-old mother of two, I'm in the best shape of my life. Hands down. Because of David's workouts and food suggestions, I've lost 5% body fat (which is a lot) and am cinching my belts tighter. I bike farther and stronger. I'm standing taller. My legs, stomach and arms are tighter. I can even beat my big 14-year-old son arm wrestling! I honestly attribute it all to David. He's remarkable.

When I began working with David Henre in December of 2001, I'd been out of the habit of exercising for 22 years. As a child I was a gymnast and a dancer and very physically active. I injured my knees when I was 17-years-old, and despite numerous attempts at physical therapy, had been unsuccessful at rehabilitating my legs in the subsequent two decades. By the time I began working with David, I had also developed pain in my shoulder and wrist joints, and had suffered a whiplash injury in a motor vehicle accident which resulted in chronic neck and thoracic pain and the exacerbation of a pre-existing scoliosis. I was in a fair amount of chronic pain, and restricted in my physical activity. When David vowed that he would not only get me active again, but would help me ski again, I was skeptical.
David chose exercises that were perfectly suited to my needs and abilities. For the first time, I was doing exercises that were effective in strengthening my legs
without re-injuring my knees. His knowledge about what my legs needed was enormous. Secondly, he had the uncanny ability to know when to push me and when not. For instance, with gentle but persistent encouragement, he would convince me to do exercises that I was quite certain I would be unable to do. He was invariably right. Finally, David motivated me with attainable goals. When I got on that ski slope for the first time in 23 years, my core stabilization and leg strength were such that I experienced little fatigue, and I could focus entirely on technique (once my fear subsided!).
In the 1.5 years I worked with David, I regained the following activities: Downhill skiing, dancing, Iyengar yoga, running, and basketball. I experience minimal pain and I have regained a kind of health I thought I would never achieve. Thank you, David!

I am a 56-year-old woman who I began David Henre's core conditioning class about one year ago. I have been an avid golfer for 35+ years. Recently, I had an occasion to go to Moab for a golf outing. I hit the ball longer and more accurately than I ever have before. I attribute this vast improvement to my core training. Now, I experience less pain and fatigue in my lower back. Most of my life I have avoided exercise, but when I realized that all my health problems are exercise-related, I committed to working with a personal trainer. At first, my progress was slow, and I had to overcome a lifetime of habit. David Henre exhibited extraordinary intuition and patience to identify where I was and successfully led me onto a path of physical improvement Now I actually enjoy exercise.
At one point while doing leg extensions, a painful popping and grinding in my knees frightened me into going for imaging and consultation with orthopedic surgeons, who told me to "live with it - it's part of aging." David supported me in not wanting to accept this advice and instead set about a program to strengthen my knees and the surrounding muscles. After tripping off a curb into on-coming traffic and observing myself do a Fred Astaire back onto the sidewalk, I knew that with David's help I had taken a quantum leap in improving my health and physical well-being.
I've lost 20 pounds and I fit in my clothes better. I have tremendously improved my self-esteem. It would be hard to find another trainer with David's exceptional ability to observe and analyze movements, the training and skill to design a program to improve a client, the ability to articulate goals and the subtlety and patience to help a particularly hard case achieve these goals.
