New and Radical: StraightLine Fitness Studio Combines Unconventional 1:1 Fitness Training with Rossiter Injury Prevention/Rehabilitation
FORT COLLINS, COLO. - Jan. 24, 2012 - StraightLine Fitness Studio, an unconventional fitness training facility that emphasizes Rossiter bodywork and whole-body workouts with 1:1 instruction, recently opened its doors at 1606 S. Lemay Ave., Suite 102 in Fort Collins.
StraightLine is the home of two local fitness giants; Rocky Mountain Rossiter and Colorado Core. Rocky Mountain Rossiter's Keith and Shelly Beyerle combined forces with Colorado Core's David Henre to create this new functional fitness and Rossiter studio-the first of its kind in Fort Collins. The team has a combined 34 years of experience in functional fitness training and Rossiter, a connective tissue stretching method used for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
StraightLine is an "alternative gym" ideal for advanced personal training programs, Rossiter and specialized health and fitness workshops. The minimalistic, spacious studio significantly differs from traditional gyms that offer repetitive fitness classes and antiquated workouts that depend on complex machinery to isolate muscle groups (think bicep curl or bench press).
Instead, StraightLine focuses on total body coordination with suspension training, body weight resistance and mobility fitness.
"Our equipment is purposefully low-tech because our bodies are high-tech," Keith Beyerle said. "We teach people to use their whole body the way they're naturally built to move, rather than repetitive mainstream concepts that cause people to eventually lose interest and quit."
"This one-of-a-kind functional fitness playground will transform the way Fort Collins residents view fitness, health and healing," Henre said. "At StraightLine, no two workouts are the same. We experiment with thousands of non-traditional exercises to help our members get strong and smart about health in a fun and practical way."
